3D PETG Filament Blue France ARIANEPLAST
The 3D PETG filament, also called T-Glass (Tough Glass = resistant glass), is a filament with many interesting characteristics, particularly in terms of translucency and resistance.
This is made from the material PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycolized) which is a derivative of PET used in particular in the manufacture of water bottles, containers for dishwashing liquid, etc.
It has very good optical properties and the odor is neutral, therefore easy to use for 3D printing.
From an ecological point of view, its impact on the environment is reduced because it is 100% recyclable, just like PET.
PETG complies with ROHS and REACH environmental standards: European Regulation EU No. 453/2010 - Annex II (Registration, evaluation and authorization of chemical substances + restrictions applicable to these substances); European Regulation EU No. 1907/2006 (Regulations / legislation specific to the substance or mixture in terms of safety, health and the environment).
Recommended print settings:
• temperature from 220°c to 250°c (recommended at 245°c);
• heating plate required 60/80°c;
• recommended print speed 30-50mm/s;
• glass transition temperature 80°c;
• specific density >1.29g/cm³;
• 75/100% fan cooling for a better aesthetic result and minimal cooling for better mechanical performance.
Additional information:
• shiny material;
• good resistance to shock and impact;
• good thermal stability;
• good inter-layer adhesion;
• without bisphenol A;
• made in France in our workshops;
Printing with this type of filament guarantees excellent results for everyday objects (kitchen, decoration, etc.), or parts for industry (molds, window parts, etc.).</p >
