This privacy policy describes how SARL ARIANE-PLAST ("Arianeplast", "we") collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of visitors and customers of www.arianeplast.com (the "Site"), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.

2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:
- Identification and contact data: title, first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, and for businesses the company name and VAT/registration number;
- Account data: login, password (stored in encrypted form), date of birth if you provide it (optional), communication preferences;
- Order data: products ordered, purchase history, amounts, delivery and payment method, exchanges with customer service and after-sales service;
- Payment data: processed directly by our secure payment providers; we never store card numbers on our servers;
- Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, products viewed, current carts, traffic source — collected through cookies and trackers, subject to your consent where required (see section 7).

4. Commercial communications: what you receive and how to stop it
If you are a customer (you have placed at least one order), we may send you e-mails with offers and information about products and services similar to those you have purchased, in accordance with article L.34-5 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code. Every e-mail contains an unsubscribe link: one click is enough to stop receiving them. You can also write to us at [email protected].
If you subscribed to the newsletter (Site form, box ticked when creating your account, or sign-up window), you receive our news, new products and promotions on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link, from your customer account ("Personal information" section), or by writing to us.
We never sell or rent your data to third parties. "Partner offers" are only sent to you if you have expressly ticked the corresponding box.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is processed by authorised Arianeplast staff and, to the extent necessary for each purpose, by the following providers, who are contractually bound to confidentiality and security:
- Hosting and security: the Site's hosting provider and the Cloudflare protection/optimisation service;
- Secure payment: Crédit Agricole (Up2pay e-Transactions), PayPal, PrestaShop Checkout, Amazon Pay, and cryptocurrency payment providers; card details are entered on their secure interfaces;
- Delivery: carriers and pick-up point networks (Mondial Relay, InPost, postal and courier services) which receive your name, address, phone number and e-mail to deliver your parcel;
- E-mailing and marketing: ShopiMind (transactional e-mails, reminders and newsletters, Site personalisation);
- Audience measurement and advertising: Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), OpenAI (measurement of visits from ChatGPT) — only with your consent;
- Consent management: Sirdata (cookie banner).
Your data may also be disclosed to tax authorities, public authorities or courts where required by law.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of the providers listed above (in particular Google, Meta, OpenAI, PayPal, Amazon) may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR: adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. Cookies and trackers
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie settings" link available on the Site.
- Strictly necessary cookies (session, cart, login, security, storage of your consent choices): set without consent, they are essential for the Site to work;
- Audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics): Site traffic and usage statistics;
- Advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta, OpenAI): conversion measurement and ad personalisation;
- Personalisation and marketing cookies (ShopiMind): recognition of current carts, recommendations and reminders.
Cookies last no longer than 13 months; data collected via cookies is kept for a maximum of 25 months.
8. Retention periods
- Customer account data and order history: for the duration of the business relationship, then 3 years from the last contact or last order (commercial communications);
- Accounting data and invoices: 10 years, in accordance with article L.123-22 of the French Commercial Code;
- Order tracking and after-sales data: 2 to 5 years depending on the purpose (2 years for the legal guarantee of conformity, 3 years for commercial evidence);
- Bank details: not stored on our servers, unless you have activated the saved-payment option with your explicit consent with the payment provider;
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe, then 3 years without interaction; proof of your consent is kept for the duration of the subscription;
- Browsing data and cookies: 13 months maximum for cookies, 25 months for associated data.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), hashed passwords, back-office access restricted to authorised staff, regular backups, payments entrusted to certified providers. No bank details are stored on our servers.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- right of access;
- right to rectification;
- right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- right to restriction of processing;
- right to data portability;
- right to object, in particular to commercial communications, at any time and without giving reasons;
- right to withdraw your consent at any time;
- right to set out instructions regarding your data after your death.
You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected], by phone on +33 3 72 66 01 47, via the Site's contact form or by post at the address given in section 1. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt. We reply within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy — TSA 80715 — 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr).
11. Minors
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about children under 15 without the consent of the holder of parental authority.
12. Changes
We may update this policy, in particular to reflect legal changes or changes to our providers. The version in force is the one published on the Site, with its update date. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you by e-mail or by a notice on the Site.
